What is the purpose of this book?
This is technically a sequel to a memoir I wrote in 2018 about how I met and eventually married my 3rd husband. It became a way to share with the world the lessons I have learned about love in an effort to help those struggling with their own love journeys.
Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?
Yes, I believe communication and expectations are themes that show up over and over again.
Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write?
Writing about my prior exes was the fun part because I’ve been way over those lost loves. Which part was the hardest? Writing about my most recent ex was the hardest because it really forced me to look inside myself to address how I’ve contributed to the failure of my relationships.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?
I was born deaf in my right ear.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
I love helping people be it through my novels to entertain or my self-care books. It’s always about trying to show people how to be the best they can be for me. I am not perfect and I openly share my flaws and learning experiences with others as a way to hopefully encourage and help them as well.
