Man on the Run by Carl Weber was well written and held my attention the entire time. This was a fun drama filled book from beginning to end. I was speechless throughout this book. In the beginning of the book I was turned off by some of the sex scenes, but I got through them. The bond between the friends were great. They were very loyal friends. I love how it was action packed and fast paced. I was engrossed with the characters. All I wanted was to finish to see what was going to happen next.
This book is about four lifelong friends Wil, Kyle, Jay, and Allen. Jay escaped from prison and enlisted his friends to help him once he was on the run. He was serving time for a rape charge that he claims his innocence. He wanted his friends to help him clear his name.
I want to give this book 5 stars because it felt I was inside the story and that’s realistic. Thanks for a drama filled, fast paced read.
