Author Spotlight: Artemis Craig

A Creative Force Bridging Poetry, Film, and Fiction

In every generation, there are storytellers whose words transcend the page and extend into other forms of art. Artemis Craig is one such voice—a writer, poet, and filmmaker whose creative vision flows across genres and mediums with grace and impact.

A Platform for Poets

As an administrator with The Inspired Poetry Corner, Artemis helps nurture a vibrant community where poets and artists share their spoken word talents. Through podcast performances and collaborative showcases, this platform has become a haven for voices that inspire, uplift, and challenge. Her role is more than administrative—it’s rooted in advocacy, providing space for creativity to thrive.

From Page to Screen

Artemis holds a BFA in Cinema/TV from the University of Southern California, a foundation that has equipped her with both technical skill and artistic vision. She has already made her mark in film as a co-writer of Plus Size with Men in the Kingdom Productions.

But her creativity doesn’t stop there. Drawing inspiration from her own poetry, Artemis directed a scene for the film based on a piece from her debut book, Inspirational Verse for Those Who Hunger and Thirst. It was a powerful moment that blended the raw honesty of spoken word with the visual storytelling of cinema.

A New Chapter in Fiction

Now, Artemis is channeling her talent into long-form storytelling with her first novel, The Value of Blood: The Price of Truth. This gripping thriller explores themes of guilt, justice, and systemic failure, following a woman caught between tragedy and survival as she seeks truth in a world clouded by corruption. Early readers have already praised its layered characters and unflinching suspense.

The Value of Blood not only expands Artemis’s creative portfolio but also establishes her as a rising voice in contemporary fiction.
