By February 11, 2024February 27th, 2024Uncategorized

Synopsis

How did I become the person I am today? I have become a weak person, a person who now has low self-esteem, a person who now feels broken, unloved, and in so much pain. I am trying to figure out why and when I stopped loving myself and accepted the type of treatment that I have endured. When you hear my story, you may judge me, call me weak and insecure, and say I have low self-esteem and no self-confidence.

Well, whatever you say about me, believe me, I have already said it about myself repeatedly. I have cried many days and nights, asking myself the same thing, but the pain I am feeling right now is so unbearable that I feel like I am losing my mind. Every day I wear a mask with a smile on my face, laughing and talking to people at work, my family, and friends. A mask of happiness but inside, I am sad, feeling drained, tired, and most of all, embarrassed. I did not want people to know what I was going through because of the embarrassment and being disappointed in myself that I had allowed myself to become the person I am now.

Can you share one highlight from the book?

One highlight from the book is when Nicole asks me to be Aidyn’s GodMother and meet him for the first time.

What is the purpose of this book?
The Purpose of the book was for me to release the anger I was feeling inside because of certain things that had/ and were happening in my life.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?
Can’t right now think of any themes that turn up again and again. Only that I am still meeting men who are not consistent.

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?
The one thing that was fun to write about was that I was able to travel out of the country for my retirement/birthday celebration. The hardest was writing about the losses in my life and falling for a man who just tore my spirit down.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?
Something my loyal fans don’t know about me is that I have a fear of living alone for the rest of my life and not having anyone to share my life with. One more thing, I am my worst critic, and sometimes I don’t believe in myself.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
I want to share with my readers that writing my first book was everything to me. I never thought in a million years that I would have been able to do it.
